Amberjack Deep Sea Fishing Video with the Boss

Well it is always good to have a catch of Big Groupers and Amberjacks when the boss is in town. He flew down with one of his employees Johnny and met up with some friends from Linden AL. These guys own and work for Gaddy Electric and have fished with us before! Everyone was ready to go that morning. The seas started out about 4 ft. which was no problem for the High Cotton however the sea state improved all day. This allowed us to fish about 50 miles offshore for some better bites. The video I posted is Bradley having his beeliner eaten by a Jack. Stay in touch with us there are more posts coming.

Racing Is Over, Time to Deep Sea Fish

After a two weeks of racing in the ARCA/REMAX touring series it's time to get back to FISHING. The High Cotton is ready for the upcoming Snapper season. We are right in the middle of Cobia fishing and have had some good trips with our largest fish coming in at 71 pounds. I hope we will have a few more shots at the flatheads this week.

I am looking foward to having the boss on board this week. He is planing on doing some grouper fishing. We will be using large live baits and fishing over natural bottom in deep water. This is truly deep sea fishing you never know what you will catch!
After that its a 12hr bottom fishing trip where we are going to fill the box for the Montgomery, AL. bunch. They told me they were ready to digg, I know I am. Call me if you are ready to do some fishing too!! 251-978-1467.

Weathered out!!!

Well our weekday bottom fishing trip will just have to wait a few more days. The weather is terrible and expected to blow like crazy from the south then from the north-west.
The fishing has been great with good catches of COBIA, BEELINER, AMBERJACK and more. All our Summer time weekends are filling up on the High Cotton so check us out and make your vacation plans in the Orange Beach, AL or Gulf Shores, AL Beaches.

P.S. I'll try for some stormy video in the A.M.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach 2009 Tide Charts

Here are a collection of some of my favorite Tide Charts for the Gulf Of Mexico.

Here are the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Perdido Pass 2009 Fishing Tide Charts from the Alabama Department of Natural Resources.
This Tide Prediction Server has Daily Tide Predictions, Seven Day Tidal Graphs, and Monthly Tide Charts, for numerous fishing cities from Alabama, Florida, Louisianna, Mississippi, and Texas. Another cool feature of this website is the Fishing Forecast Scale that rates how good the fishing will be for each day based upon the tide and moon phase. When the Tide Chart Fishing Forecast says today is going to be a 10, then you need to take off work and get out fishing!
Saltwater Tides has Tide Charts and Tables for most major cities along the Gulf Coast. Just choose your state, city, and month to see the Tide Predictions.
I would highly recommend checking the tide charts before heading out beach or inshore fishing. The baitfish and gamefish are much more active when the tides are moving!

Offshore Fishing Video Aboard the High Cotton

Here is a video from our last multi-day trip that was stellar. These guys led by John Buckner had one of the best trips of big game fishing in the history of the boat. Food was provied by a local resaurant NIX @ the Beach, which was superb. These guys really knew how to have a great time and fished like pros. The High Cotton is always ready for more trips like this one.

Some pictures, and more information from this same trip are available at http://mendofishingteamslaysgulffish.shutterfly.com/
